Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple entities
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision making
- Participate in the annual budget planning process
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly HST filings
- Monitor cash flow, preparing forecasts and projections
- Provide effective leadership to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA designation is required
- 5+ years of progressive experience preferably in the construction, real estate or property management industry
- Strong system skills are required, experience with Business Central within a MS Dynamics 365 environment is preferred
- Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills are key for success in this position
