Are you an experienced accountant looking for your next opportunity with a great organisation? Our well-established client is in search of a Financial Accountant to join their North American team. While reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will be responsible for providing financial reporting, month end and taxation support to the accounting department. Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with the month and year-end process, including interim audit preparation, intercompany confirmations, and physical inventory 
  • Identify areas of improvement and contribute towards the process and development of those improvements 
  • Prepare, file and ensure compliance with sales tax requirements across Canadian provinces and U.S. taxes.
  • Proactively analyze and resolve issues  
  • Other duties as assigned 
Requirements:
  • Relevant university/college degree 
  • CPA or near completion a strong asset 
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience 
  • SAP experience is an asset
