Our client located in Mississauga is looking to add a Payroll Lead to their team! This role will report into the Payroll Manager and supervise a team of three, while being hands on with the back end work of payroll. Responsibilities:
- Act as back up for complex, unionized payroll processing
- Address any payroll inquiries or discrepancies with a high degree of professionalism
- Perform month end analysis
- Reconcile payroll General Ledgers
- Calculate HST and WSIB remittances
- Manage payroll team and ensure the process runs smoothly
Job Requirements
- Strong leadership skills or desire to be a strong leader
- Good understanding of federal legislation & employee standards legislation required
- Strong communication skills
