  Responsibilities:  

• Handle mainly AR, and AP processes in the shipping department 
• Prepare financial reports for the controller 
• Assist in general accounting tasks like reconciling the AR, and AP ledgers, processing employee expenses 
• Assist in monthly, and yearly financial statement preparation 
• HST/GST processing and filings
• Assist in preparing documents for annual audits
• Assist with ad-hoc projects. 

• 1+ years’ general accounting experience focusing on AR, AP, and financial reporting (co-op experience as well) 
• Must have completed a post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting
• Strong attention to detail
