You will play an instrumental role in shaping financial strategy, optimizing operations, and driving sustainable growth.
As the Director of Finance, you will:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, providing financial insights to support business expansion, investment decisions, and long-term planning
- Lead all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, product costing, financial reporting, and operational financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Drive FP&A initiatives, including annual budgeting, KPI development, and detailed profitability analysis across product lines, projects, divisions, and customer segments.
- Partner with operations and production teams to enhance cost control, improve manufacturing efficiency, optimize inventory management, and support effective pricing strategies.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, banking relationships, and foreign currency exposure to ensure strong capital management.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls while leading improvements in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and overall financial processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Promote financial literacy across the organization to support better decision-making at all levels.
Requirements:
- CPA designation is a must
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a deep understanding of manufacturing, industrial products, construction, or project-based businesses.
- Extensive expertise in inventory management and cost accounting, ideally within a major ERP system.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, comfortable navigating the fast-paced, entrepreneurial landscape of a growing private company.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and partnering effectively with operational leaders.
