Job Description
Our client, a well-established professional services organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join its office near Cambridge, ON. This is a full-time, stand-alone accounting role, that will handle their books. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Finance and will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations. This opportunity is best suited for a dependable professional seeking long-term stability in a well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to support management decision-making
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Complete bank and general ledger reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain precise financial records through consistent and accurate data entry
- Administer Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Coordinate and submit all required government filings, including HST and payroll remittances
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and external partners, providing timely and professional assistance
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
