Responsibilities:
- Oversee AR and manage complex bills of material
- Deal with financing companies and ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of approximately seven people
- Ensure financial accuracy within evolving accounting processes.
- Foster positive team dynamics and communication, especially with long-term employees.
- Collaborate closely with other accounting team members and interact with plant personnel, requiring occasional presence on the plant floor.
- Adapt quickly to responsibilities during a period of lean staffing and transition to new standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, particularly regarding costing.
Qualifications:
- CPA is required with 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Manufacturing experience an asset
- Solid experience with budgeting and reporting
- Excellent soft skills, including strong communication and the ability to work well with diverse team members and manage change effectively
- Must be willing to work 100% on-site
