Our manufacturing client in the GTA is seeking a driven and hands-on Assistant Controller to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step into a broader leadership role, or for someone with 1–2 years of leadership experience looking to join a growing organization where they can make a meaningful impact.
The role offers strong exposure to operational accounting, process improvement, ERP implementation, and close collaboration with senior leadership during an exciting period of growth and transition.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with analytical tasks and provide daily, weekly, and monthly financial data to the parent company.
- Collaborate with the parent company and strategic team to prepare for the transition to a new Epicor ERP system, ensuring data accuracy.
- Manage a variety of accounting tasks, including inputting invoices, completing sales orders, invoicing customers, and performing collection calls.
- Contribute to the development of new cost accounting processes from scratch.
- Ensure the provision of clean and accurate data for key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requests from the investment group.
Qualifications:
- 3 -8 years of experience and ideally a new CPA or someone enrolled in the program
- Someone looking to make the move into a controller role OR someone with 1-2 years at the controller level
- Open to those coming from public accounting with manufacturing clients OR those in a comparable manufacturing-like environment
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and perform all tasks
- Ability to work five days a week on-site
