Job Description
Our client, an established and growing manufacturing company in Burlington, has an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join their team! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting, excellent communication and proven leadership skills. This is an in-office role working as part of a collaborative team.

- Oversee financial accounting and reporting operations
- Analyze cost structures in the manufacturing process, including raw materials, labor, and overhead
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to improve margins
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements against budget
- Maintain internal controls and compliance
- Supervise the accounting team, providing training and mentorshipÂ
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between the finance department and other functional teams, providing financial expertise and support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. CPA designation required
- 10+ years of progressive experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting, with a minimum 5 years of hands-on leadershipÂ
- Candidates must have strong knowledge of financial modeling, cost calculation and supply chain management
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required for success in this position
- Candidates must be proficient with ERP systems, and possess advanced MS Excel skills.
- This is an in-office position in Burlington
