What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide leadership and technical oversight to the finance team, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, inventory, and job costing.
- Review existing processes with a critical eye, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Improve and develop processes to increase accuracy and efficiency across the finance function.
- Support the enhancement of financial systems, reporting, and internal controls as the organization continues to grow.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new processes and requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to the accounting team.
- Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and other financial analysis as required.
- Act as a technical resource to the Finance team and provide insight to support business decisions.
What You Bring
- CPA designation required; will consider those in final steps
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; public accounting experience with manufacturing clients will also be considered.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to improve processes.
