AR Specialist (3-6 Month Contract with High Possibility to Extend)
Our client, a well-established company in the Construction industry, has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a 3-6 month contract (with a high possibility of extension). This role will primarily focus on the full cycle accounts receivable (AR) and month-end processes. Responsibilities:
- Handle full cycle AR process
- Assist with preparation of the monthly financial package
- Support mid-year and end-of-year reviews
- Manage reconciliation and follow-up of all AR
- Generate monthly reports
- Create aging reports
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller
- 3+ years' experience handling full cycle AR processes
- Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry is considered an asset
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field is mandatory
- Intermediate Excel skills are required
