Job Description
Our client, an established custom manufacturer selling into the ground service equipment market seeks an eager and experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE for their growing company.
This position is ideal for a SALES PROFESSIONAL that has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related sales role AND ideally 3 years in business development.

Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining connections with new and existing clientele
- Networking and driving sales across both the Canadian and American market
- Conducting market analysis and research to identify new business opportunities
- Create, negotiate and close effective business deals
- Work closely with other departments as needed to provide the highest level of quality and client satisfaction
- Making sure all applicable regulations and standards are adhered to throughout business transactions.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences (valid passport required)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience from custom manufacturing industry
- The right candidate will have working knowledge and insight into Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or equipment leasing.
- Working knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills
- Computer proficiency (Word and Excel), CRM and ERP
- The right candidate will exhibit: initiative; a self-directed, strong work ethic; a passion for sales and customer service
