Reporting to the President & CEO, the CFO is a critical role, responsible for leading the organization’s accounting and Finance Team, setting financial targets, monitoring performance, overseeing expenditures and managing external banking relationships. As a key member of the Leadership Team, the CFO will lead various continuous improvement projects and requires a strategic and analytical professional to drive the organization’s financial operations, define best-in-class metrics and improve overall financial performance. Responsibilities:

As an integral member of the Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer will harmonize financial systems and processes, promote revenue growth, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the organization as well as various external partners. This role will work collaboratively with the President & CEO and the C-Suite Leadership Team in strategic planning, ensuring sound capital structure for the company, planning for growth and leading specific growth transactions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure credibility of the Finance Team by providing timely and accurate analysis of performance, financial trends, and forecasts
• Support the learning and continued growth of the Finance Team
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance for accounting and regulatory reporting
• Develop and implement reporting that will allow leaders to measure the impact of decisions
• Develop consolidated/combined financial reporting for the company’s various entities
• Provide project-specific reporting on company growth initiatives
• Manage banking relationships and lead financing initiatives to ensure that the company has a strong foundation, with the appropriate overall capital structure
• Oversee tax planning strategy and ensure tax costs are as efficient as possible within the organization
• Lead the Treasury, Insurance and Risk Management functions
• This position requires travel to various company locations, promoting the company’s core values while building effective relationships with all levels of the organization

• CA/CPA designation is required
• 10+ years of experience in a Senior Finance Leadership role, effectively partnering with an executive team as VP or CFO
• This position is ideal for entrepreneurial minded finance professionals who thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong systems skills are required and previous experience leading a system implementation is an asset
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role
