Job Description
Our large global manufacturing client is looking for their next Controller to join their team in Oakville. They will lead a team of 4 and report into the Country Manager. This individual will touch on accounting, financial analysis, planning & budget control and internal controls. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on.
Please note: this position requires you to be located in Ontario, as this is an on-site position

Responsibilities:
- Manage AP and AR
- Close books, consolidate financial results and GL reconciliations
- Prepare internal and external financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecast
- Financial analysis, planning and budget control
- Touch on P&L improvement and defining KPI’s
- Build and maintain business plans in an aim to find new opportunities
- Manage all Tax reporting
Qualifications:
- CPA preferred, with 7-10 years of solid controlling/accounting/finance experience - manufacturing background is strongly preferred
- SAP experience
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- A self-starter who can work well cross-functionally
- Year end audit experience an asset
