Our client located in St. Mary’s is looking for a Controller to join their team.  Reporting to the CFO this role focuses on financial reporting, and overseeing the accounting team.  The ideal candidate will be working towards their CPA and have some experience leading a small accounting team.  This is a great opportunity to join a great local company and leader in their field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month end closing and approvals
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with year end audit and work closely with external auditors
• Manage foreign exchange transactions
• Manage and lead the accounting team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
• CPA designation or in-progress
• Experience managing and leading a team
