Job Description
Our construction client located in Stoney Creek is looking to add a Controller to their team! This role will report to the owner and oversees three direct reports, while managing the accounting process such as AR, AP, month end, financial statements and more.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting operations in all aspects
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,cash flow statements, and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
• Develop and manage annual budgets
• Prepare and file monthly remittances to the government in multiple jurisdictions
• Manage intercompany accounts and monthly billings
• Prepare monthly progress billings for clients and corresponding subcontractor payments
• Oversee all vendor payments and manage credit card accounts
• Cash management including intercompany transfers and reconciliations
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual reviews, audits and tax filings
Job Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in the construction industry at the management level
- Jonas experience required
- Strong leadership skills
