You will be a critical member of our accounting team, responsible for a wide range of cost accounting functions that support inventory control, profitability analysis, and managerial reporting. Your work will directly influence financial decision-making and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:
- Applying and analyzing weighted average costing for inventory and product flow
- Leading costing audits and generating detailed cost reports and margin analysis
- Reconciling inventory, COGS entries, and validating manufacturing costs
- Supporting monthly close activities, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Conducting variance analysis between standard and actual costs
- Partnering with operations to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement in reporting
- Participating in annual inventory processes and internal/external audits
- Generating detailed labor, product line, and shipment cost reports for management
We’re looking for someone who can own the cost accounting function while contributing to broader financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced: 3+ years in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or automotive
- Educated: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Analytical: Skilled in variance analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation
- Tech-Savvy: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables a must)
- Be part of a stable, long-term team with global backing and local autonomy
