They do business with integrity and are looking for a like minded individual who will take the lead of HR Department, in the position of, Director of Human Resources. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to add to their own team in the near future. The Director of Human Resources will have a wide range of responsibilities. This position is performed 100% on site.

Responsibilities:
- Providing effective and efficient management of the Human Resources Department, including the accuracy of employee files
- Manage sick leaves and LTD claims
- Tracking statistical data such as health and safety, headcount, turnover, company org. chart
- Manage training and development and maintain training records
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws related to human rights and employment standards as well as pay equity, privacy and workplace safety
- Coordinate full cycle Internal/External Recruiting
- Create, implement and maintain employee policies and procedures
- Create new strategies for ongoing recruitment and employee development
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior HR role
- Experience in construction or manufacturing preferred
- CHRP/CHRL designation preferred or willing to obtain
- Leadership experience
- Strong sense of customer service and respect
