Job Description
Our client, an established and growing company within the transportation and logistics industry is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director of Operations to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing a period of transformation and growth with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. This role offers the chance to make a substantial impact by shaping the operational strategy, optimizing processes, and expanding client relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and manage a large, dynamic team, contributing directly to the company's overall efficiency and growth.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure adherence to agreed terms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to align operational and commercial strategies
- Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous learning
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments with 3+ years of hands-on operations leadership
- Strong business acumen with proven contract negotiation experience
- Track record of driving process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and influencing teams
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role
