Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that is evolving, becoming more complex, and plans for some high growth in the coming years.
This Executive Assistant role is a new and essential addition, designed to support a growing executive team of four and manage the increased workload associated with board-level governance. You will play a crucial role in putting more structure around the company's governance and contributing to its continued growth.

Responsibilities:
- Provide board governance support.
- Support the executive team with calendar management, organizing meetings, and preparing board decks and PowerPoints.
- Manage shared mailboxes.
- Assist with event preparation, including the annual general meeting.
- Take on action items from board committee meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the President/CEO
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a board and a c-suite executive leadership team.
- Strong board governance experience, including minute-taking and managing board decks.
- Experience working with a corporate secretary or as a stand-in corporate secretary.
- Professionalism and strong confidentiality.
- Proactive, anticipatory, and flexible, with the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work a minimum of 1 day per week in the office (Wednesdays), with flexibility for additional in-office days as needed for executive and board meetings. Must live close enough to the office to accommodate this flexibility.
