Job Description
Our client, a very reputable real estate/development company, is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally coming from public accounting. The successful candidate will be a CPA with experience with financial modeling and reporting, cashflow forecasting, and people leadership.
Work Arrangement:
100% in-office in Cambridge, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver accurate reports to various stakeholders, and translate the numbers into actionable business insights
- Analyze business reports to support management decision-making
- Manage a team of accounting staff, allocate and oversee their tasks and provide exceptional mentorship and leadership.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare/analyze cash flow statements and reports.
- Develop and enhance KPI dashboards
- Collaborate with other managers, with senior management, and with various other departments
- Evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements.
- Report directly to the CFO and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting; experience working in public accounting preferred
- 2+ years of management/senior management experience required
- CPA required
- Very strong analysis and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial modeling in an Excel would be an asset
- High level of organization and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
