Our client located in Niagara is looking for a General Accountant to join their team.  Reporting to the Division Controller, this role focuses on analyzing detailed accounting information and working closely with operations.  The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and be enrolled in the CPA program.

Responsibilities:

• Journal entries for month end, quarter end, year end
• Monthly corporate tax and HST remittances
• Financial analysis to support operations and construction teams
• Stats Can reporting
• Sales reconciliations

Maintain fixed asset records

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting
• MUST be enrolled in the CPA program
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical
• Team player and willing to learn
