Our client, an brand-name leader in the CPG industry has an immediate requirement for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team! Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HRBP will partner with sales leaders on strategies and programs that identify, attract, align, and retain talent. This role will provide subject matter expertise and support to leaders and team members in the areas of employee relations, performance and talent management, programs and policies, talent acquisition, on-boarding and orientation, as well as people development. This is an in-office position, working as part of a collaborative team! Travel to various sites throughout the GTA and surrounding area is required, candidates must have access to their own vehicle.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, support and coaching to sales leaders on matters such as performance management, recruitment and selection, development opportunities, employee relations, etc.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and partner with sales managers to develop and implement solutions
• Overseeing HR program and policy creation and compliance to employment laws and regulations
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant provincial employment legislation to provide appropriate counsel to people leaders as required
• Manage employee relations and provide support to people leaders in resolution of issues, including conducting investigations, coaching, counselling and recommendations on appropriate actions
• Build a trusting and respectful relationship with team members to gather feedback and identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct pro-active visits to off site facilities, or sales calls, to engage in formal and informal team member feedback and information sessions
Job Requirements
• Post-Secondary degree in Business or Human Resources, with a minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Generalist
• Completion of CHRP is an asset
• Candidates must possess strong HR and business acumen demonstrated through progressive work experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are required for success in this position
• Candidates must have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work well with all levels in an organization
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ATS, HRIS, Dayforce systems is required
• This position requires in-province day travel of up to 30%, candidates must have access to their own vehicle
