Job Description
Our privately owned growing services company is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join their team near the Mount Forest area. This individual will report into the Accounting Manager and be part of a team of 4 others. You will complete monthly and yearly inventory cycle counts, operate a forklift when necessary, order products and maintain the inventory catalogue
Please note: this position requires you to be in Ontario and in the local area, as this is an on-site position. This position is NOT located near the GTA.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure stock levels of required inventory items meets established minimum standards. Communicate with departments if/when reorder is necessary
- Responsible for monthly cycle counts for all inventory warehouse locations. Investigate all discrepancies and apply adjustments - communicate these in monthly report to management and reconcile any inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate yearly physical inventory count process. Work with other departments to ensure accurate count, input, and reporting in a timely manner
- Order products and follow up with vendors on past due orders
- Maintain electronic database of inventory catalogue ensuring that all items are properly labelled
- Receive products: verify received goods to shipping documents, record into inventory management system, and follow-up with vendors regarding discrepancies
- Complete processes for product returns including documentation, shipping, follow-up and receipt of repaired or replaced items
- Co-ordinate the process for proper disposal of inventory identified as obsolete, damaged or as otherwise noted. Communicate all write offs to management monthly
- Ensure inventory storage areas are labelled, organized, clean and secure at all times
- Responsible for the refurbishment of all returned customer CPE. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning of the equipment, updating firmware if required, moving of equipment back into inventory circulation, and e-waste of unusable items.
- Analyze processes and procedures to look for areas of improvement and increased efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous inventory management experience
- Ability to operate a forklift when necessary
- Can handle and prioritize multiple projects
