Our client is urgently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Manager to join their team with immediacy. This full-time, in-person role is based in Langley, BC, and is critical to the smooth operation of a large-scale greenhouse facility. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including irrigation, plumbing, electrical systems, vehicles, and security infrastructure, while leading a small team and ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of greenhouse systems including:
- Climate control systems, water disinfection systems, hybrid lighting systems (LED & HPS), automated irrigation and fertigation systems
- Electric-powered rolling and stationary equipment (e.g., spacing machines, sowing machines, potting lines, roof washers)
- Automatic generators and vehicles
- Security devices and infrastructure
- Lead a team of two maintenance technicians.
- Develop and execute a rigorous preventative maintenance program.
- Schedule and coordinate daily maintenance tasks and on-call coverage.
- Conduct inspections, document deficiencies, and present findings in weekly operations meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with growers, operations, and inventory teams.
- Lead emergency response efforts and ensure technicians are trained and prepared.
- Support facility supply chain and risk management efforts.
- Proven experience in maintenance management within greenhouse, agricultural, or industrial environments, with strong technical expertise in irrigation, plumbing, electrical systems, and automated greenhouse machinery.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team, coordinate scheduling, and collaborate effectively across departments in a fast-paced, high-output setting.
- Highly independent and proactive, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills; capable of anticipating and resolving maintenance issues before they arise.
- Willingness to work 100% in-office and travel occasionally; experience with climate control systems, inventory management, and emergency response planning is an asset.
