Manager of FP&A
Job Description
Our client, a well-established manufacturing and distribution company in Kitchener, is looking to hire a Manager of FP&A to their Finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the Accounting Team and reviewing the monthly and annual financial reports. You will be responsible for providing the business with KPIs, data analytics and financial insights to help drive the strategy of the business. You will lead a team of 3 and build strong internal relationships with Sales, Marketing and the supply chain. You will lead the budgeting process and assist with pricing and variance analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Manage, train and mentor a team of 3 analysts
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Work with the senior executives to develop and track KPIs
- Reports variances with explanation
- Margin analysis
- Inventory, costing and management reporting
- Assist with pricing strategies
- Tackle other projects as required, showcasing your versatility and commitment to excellence.
Job Requirements
- CPA Designation or MBA is required
- 5 plus years’ experience in FP&A
- 2 Plus years’ experience at the Management level
- Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are second nature to you.
- Strong track record of partnering with the business and developing KPIS and budgets
- Must have excellent presentation skills for interacting and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
