Our dynamic and successful client is on the lookout for a highly organized and proactive Material Planner/Scheduler to join their vibrant supply chain department. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the seamless availability of materials, enabling uninterrupted production while optimizing efficiency and slashing inventory costs. You'll be at the heart of coordinating material flow, maintaining precise schedules, and mitigating supply chain risks to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules.
  • Manage material requirements planning (MRP).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Generate KPIs and reports related to inventory and supplier performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with stamping and/or assembly operations.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, JIT, and Kanban principles.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Plex, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in material planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within the automotive industry is preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with occasional exposure to production areas.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Light to moderate physical demands.
