Are you looking to build your career with a growing, people-focused company? Our client is hiring a Materials Coordinator to support their operations near the Mount Forest area.

Our client, a growing services company, is looking for a Materials Coordinator to join their team near the Mount Forest area. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with a team of four, this role plays a key part in managing materials processes and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain optimal materials levels to meet operational requirements
  • Perform monthly materials cycle counts across all warehouse locations, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to management
  • Lead the annual physical materials count process, ensuring accurate counts and timely reporting
  • Manage material orders and follow up with vendors on delayed deliveries
  • Maintain and update the materials catalogue within the electronic database, ensuring proper labeling and accuracy
  • Receive incoming materials, verify shipments, record items in the system, and resolve any inconsistencies with suppliers
  • Process material returns, including documentation, shipping, tracking, and replacement or repair follow-up
  • Oversee the proper disposal of obsolete or damaged materials, and report all write-offs monthly
  • Keep materials storage areas organized, labelled, and secure at all times
  • Refurbish returned customer equipment (CPE): clean, update firmware, reintroduce to materials circulation, and dispose of non-repairable items appropriately
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in materials management or coordination
  • Ability to operate a forklift as required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
