You'll be a main point of contact for customers, manage complex order processes, and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes.

- Coordinate and process customer orders received via EDI, fax, and email.
- Send sales order confirmations and confirm lead times with customers.
- Ensure accurate pricing and input orders into the company's operating system.
- Manage a small, select group of customers by quoting, setting up sales order confirmations, and creating pro formas.
- Interact with banking institutions for Letters of Credit (LCs) for overseas business, managing detailed legal documents.
- Responsible for understanding and defining product percentages for tariffs and applying them to invoices, then communicating these to customers.
- Directly interact with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders, delays, and other concerns.
- Communicate internally with shipping, production, engineering, and quality assurance departments.
- Maintain a high level of direct customer interaction, emphasizing a personal contact approach.
- 3+ years of experience in a direct Customer Service role.
- Top-notch communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse customer sets and internal teams. Comfort working cross-functionally with other departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, particularly for managing complex tasks like tariffs and LCs.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands and production schedules.
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Outlook. Experience with tariffs an asset.
