Job Description
Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced payroll environment and enjoys contributing to a collaborative, fun, and supportive team culture. You will play a key role in managing Canadian and US payroll operations and overseeing benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:
•    Manage Canadian payroll for up to ~500 employeesÂ
•    Manage US payroll for a small employee group
•    Oversee benefits administration, Canadian pension plans, and the US 401(k), including invoice reconciliation and remittances
•    Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
•    Partner closely with internal HR and the managed service provider for payroll
•    Learn and execute complex payroll processes with efficiency, particularly those involving multi-province and multi-country requirements
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full cycle, multi-provincial payroll experience (US payroll experience a significant asset)
- PCP preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and a personable, professional approach
