Our growing and established client is looking to add a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to their team! This role reports into the Corporate Controller and will focus on processing payroll for over 100 employees, as well as processing invoices, credit card reconciliations, assisting with a system implementation and more!

Responsibilities:
Payroll (Union & Non-Union):
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll for union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Verify timesheets, hours worked, and wage calculations in accordance with union agreements and company policies.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits and reporting.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Accounts Payable:
- Accurately process up to 100 invoices per week, ensuring appropriate approvals and GL coding.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues promptly.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies and payment terms.
Requirements:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is required
- 2+ years payroll & accounts payable experience
- Union experience considered an asset
- Experience with system implementation considered an asset
