Job Description
Our government client in Georgetown is seeking a Payroll and HR Admin on a part-time contract basis to join the organization. The expectation is to work 14 hours (part-time) on a contract basis with a high possibility of the role turning into permanent part-time role. The ideal candidate will oversee biweekly payroll operations along with HR tasks like onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly payroll accurately for both full time and part time employees.
- Handle payroll taxes and deductions.
- Manage payroll accounts and records.
- Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs).
- Assist with HR related tasks like onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain employee records and performance review files
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Other admin tasks as requested
- Strong experience with full cycle payroll
- Exposure to HR related responsibilities in previous roles
- Previous experience with Dayforce is considered an asset
- Someone willing to take on a part-time contract role.
