Our client in Oakville is seeking a growth-oriented People & Culture Manager to join their team. If you are a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading projects, and has experience with union/non-union healthcare environments, this could be the perfect fit.

This role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a growing organization through new initiatives and team mentorship. You will play a pivotal role in supporting project rollouts, standard HR operations, and labour relations.

- Oversee the full lifecycle of HR operations and projects, in areas including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, training & development, succession planning, mission/vision/values work
- Labour relations, investigations, and grievance management for two unions
- Coach, develop, and mentor a small HR team
- 5+ years of experience in an HR management role with direct reports, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care context
- Post-secondary education required, CHRP/CHRL designation an asset
- Proven experience operating comfortably in a fast-paced, evolving, project-oriented environment, with strong execution and change management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and mentor team members
- Experience in a unionized environment, including grievance management and collective agreement interpretation
