Responsibilities:

  • Participating in product launches including product forecasting, monitoring, and post launch activities
  • Responsible for product data capture, competitive analysis, product life cycle management, and end of life coordination.
  • Collect and analyze information and data regarding industry trends to propose product innovations and enhancements
  • Attending trade shows on occasion
  • Develop and implement strategic market plan for assigned product portfolio
  • Prepare and update documentation and databases for existing and proposed product offerings including features, functionalities and requirements
  • Serve as an SME of the product portfolio, supporting sales and other function teams with sharing product knowledge
  • Work cross functionally with North American and international teams
  • Monitor the market for opportunities, improvement, regulatory and industry developments

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in Product Coordination / Management, ideally with consumer or industrial hard goods
  • Post secondary education in Business, Marketing or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience working with big box retailers such as Canadian Tire, Lowes or Home Depot is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience working with SAP is an asset.
