Job Description
Our client, a company known for its positive work environment, is seeking a Purchaser to join their team. You will play a crucial role in applying purchasing principles, negotiating with vendors, and managing inventory to ensure the right products are available at the right time and price.
Work Arrangement: In-office in Vaughan, ON.

Responsibilities:

Apply purchasing principles to acquire goods and services.

Negotiate effectively with vendors, including those overseas.

Manage inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, pricing, and timely delivery to warehouses.

Collaborate with the purchasing manager.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in a beginner to intermediate purchasing role.

Basic working knowledge of purchasing principles.
-
Open-minded disposition.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
-
Ability to work under pressure.
-
Comfortable with Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.
