Job Description
Our construction client located in Kitchener is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! This role will report to the VP of Finance while handling monthly financial statement preparation, support day to day activities, coordinate with external accountants or year ends This role is ideal for candidates in Public Accounting looking to make a move into industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of annual working paper preparation
- Income tax filings and T-slips for all of their projects
- Work closely with Project Manager to analyze project financials
- Create, implement, and oversee process improvements
- Work closely with management to oversee strategic plans and continue growing the team and company
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
- Public Accounting Candidates with 2+ years experience ideally working with contruction or real estate clients looking to make a move into industry
- CPA designation would be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail
