A growing accounting firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with 3 plus years of Public Accounting experience to take on a pivotal role, contributing to the firm's continued success and supporting a healthy work-life balance.
This position focuses on the preparation work for audits, reviews, planning, and tax as well as offering the chance to lead engagements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in relieving pressure on current staff and proactively stepping into a senior role within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed preparation work for audits and reviews, including the planning phase.
- Lead audit and review engagements from preparation through completion.
- Contribute to larger review engagements for a variety of clients in different industries
- Collaborate closely with partners and managers on assurance engagements.
- Income tax preparation, sales & payroll tax compliance
- Work independently on detailed assurance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 3 plus years of experience in public accounting
- Strong experience in review engagements and a willingness to learn and perform audits.
- CPA designated.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional in-office presence and client site visits.
- Residing in nearby areas such as London, St. Thomas, Tillsonburg, Aylmer, London or Woodstock.
