Job Description
Our client, a global manufacturing company, is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designated individual with a strong background in manufacturing or distribution OR a CPA currently working in Public Accounting who is looking to transition into industry.
The successful candidate will have experience with general accounting in a manufacturing environment, knowledge about internal controls and compliance, and a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will also be someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing team objectives and effective communication.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Intercompany reconciliations and reporting, along with month-end and year end processes and reporting.
- Navigating complex inventory reconciliations and intercompany transactions, identifying root causes and dealing with details.
- Assisting audit and compliance teams with reviews and internal controls.
- Preparing audit working documents and reconciling all accounts.
- Assisting with forecasting and financial planning
- Analyzing risk and providing accurate information on risk and variances used for business decision-making.
- Reporting cost status for project work and working alongside project teams to analyze variances.
Qualifications and Experience:
- To be considered you must have your CPA designation or be close to completing it.
- 3+ years of strong general accounting experience from manufacturing or distribution OR 3+ years experience working in Public Accounting
- A background in inventory accounting, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, experience using pivot tables
