Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing and well-established FinTech company located in Kitchener is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team! This client has over doubled their revenue in 2024 and is expected to do so again in 2025. This is a newly created role reporting into the Director of Finance, with a focus on reporting, implementing process improvements, financial analysis and other ad hoc projects! This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit team that can provide lots of career development and growth potential! They offer a hybrid work model of 2 days in office, 3 from home!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated monthly management reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and financial KPIs
  • Develop tools and systems to improve automation and efficiency
  • Assist with special financial projects
  • Prepare and post corporate journal entries, as well as reconcile inter-company balances
  • Prepare annual audit working papers
  • Play a key role in finance projects and work on complex financial analysis
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • CPA is required
  • To be considered for this opportunity you must have 3 plus years experience in public accounting and be looking to move into industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
