Job Description
Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is actively seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting and reporting professional with strong audit support experience who enjoys working across multiple finance functions, including financial reporting, cash flow planning, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. Candidates with a background in financial reporting, audit coordination, and financial statement preparation will be particularly well suited to this role.

In-office in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including preparation of reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare management reporting packages and perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Coordinate external audit requests and prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Act as a key liaison between auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure audit requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Support reporting requirements under IFRS and local GAAP frameworks.
- Contribute to short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning activities.
- Gather and analyze financial information from various departments to support forecasting and reporting requirements. Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CPA Required
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting, financial reporting, audit support, or corporate finance.
- Experience supporting external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
