Our client located in Kitchener is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.  Reporting to the Director of Finance this role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and working closely with the stakeholders of the business.  If you have 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis or FP&A and you are pursuing your CPA or already fully designated, then this opportunity could be for you!

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage the annual budget process
• Develop annual forecast on a monthly basis and collaborate with stakeholders
• Work closely with Sales on completing 5 year sales plan
• Cost versus budget versus forecast
• Collect and interpret financial data for critical decision making

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis/ FP&A role
• Undergrad degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation preferred, or in progress
• Experience working in Manufacturing, distribution or an industrial setting
• Experience with IFRS an asset
