Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions to ensure security, stability, and scalability
- Oversee system architecture and lifecycle management for network, storage, servers, and cloud services
- Lead disaster recovery planning and ensure compliance with industry security standards
- Manage data protection strategies, backup systems, and recovery protocols
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency
- Develop IT policies, oversee audits, and implement security controls
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure system reliability and performance
- Stay updated on regulatory frameworks and align IT strategies with compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in senior IT infrastructure roles
- Strong expertise in security frameworks, audits, and compliance implementation
- Extensive experience in networking, storage area networks (SAN), cloud platforms, and collaboration tools
- Ability to lead technical projects and work effectively in a team environment
- IT and security certifications (e.g., VMWare, Exchange, Windows Server, Security+, CISSP, CEH) are assets
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours, including evenings or weekends
