This role includes managing payroll records, preparing tax filings, supporting audits, and serving as a key resource for payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Handle payroll taxes and deductions.
- Calculate overtime, vacation, and holiday pay.
- Manage payroll accounts and records.
- Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs).
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations.
- Support year-end payroll tasks and issue tax forms.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Manage HRIS data and benefits.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR teams.
- Assist with payroll system updates and audits.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of payroll experience.
- Payroll certification (PCP or CPM) preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Workday).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with multi-provincial payroll is a plus.
