Job Description
Our publicly traded Canadian manufacturing client, is looking to hire a Senior Tax Analyst for their head office in the Kitchener Waterloo region! This role supports the Corporate Taxation group in tax compliance, forecasting, audit defense, and tax planning. Responsibilities:
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation in accordance with the OECD Guidelines and local jurisdictional requirements
- Assist with transfer pricing
- Assist with quarterly and annual external reporting as it relates to financial statement income tax provision
- Assist with Canadian tax filings and reporting including annual corporate tax returns
- Respond to queries from external and government auditors
- Provide support on mergers and acquisitions
- 3+ years' of tax experience either in industry or coming from public accounting dealing with a large global publicly traded corporation
- CPA is preferred and ideally working on or completed In-Depth Tax courses
- Exposure to M&A and transfer pricing is preferred
