Our client, an internationally renowned company, has an immediate opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager in their Cambridge office. This person will handle the end-to-end supply chain through various avenues in planning, procurement, warehousing and transportation.  The right candidate will have a strong grasp of third-party logistics and a well-rounded understanding of transportation processes.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Managing a small team of Supply Chain members
  • Build and maintain Supply Chain success through key performance indicators
  • Oversee an annual budget and maintain costs in alignment with company goals
  • Facilitate a high level of service to both internal and external clients, while maintaining a top performance culture
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of logistics and transportation as well as warehousing and inventory management
  • Govern aspects to the import/export processes, including tariff and custom documentation
  • Ensure inventory is maintained by forecasting customer demand and managing material flow as a result

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain Management Diploma, Bachelors of business, or PMAC certification with at least 5 years of experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of logistics (3PL, customs, freight)
  • Exposure to dealing with big box stores and distributors
  • Key user in large ERP systems. Preferably SAP
  • Strong hands on leadership and coaching
  • Experience in international logistics
  • Must be able to travel to the US warehouse for 2-3 days every 2 months
