<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance 
&#9;<li>Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion 
&#9;<li>Prepare and file GST/HST returns 
&#9;<li>Maintain and analyze financial records and ensure data integrity 
&#9;<li>Collaborate with various departments to support financial operations across the business 
&#9;<li>Assist with improving accounting processes and internal controls 
&#9;<li>Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed 
</ul>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Working toward a CPA designation or demonstrating strong aptitude toward achieving one </strong>
&#9;<li>Proven experience in full-cycle accounting and month-end close 
&#9;<li><strong>Familiarity with QuickBooks is an asset</strong> but not required 
&#9;<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a small team environment 
&#9;<li>Ability to start on short notice is highly preferred 
</ul>

<strong>Qualifications:</strong>

&#9;<li>3+ years of experience in a direct Customer Service role.
&#9;<li>Top-notch communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse customer sets and internal teams. Comfort working cross-functionally with other departments.
&#9;<li>Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, particularly for managing complex tasks like tariffs and LCs.
